New site design for NRICH

Our hugely popular NRICH website has a new look. 

NRICH publishes rich mathematical activities designed for all ages from Early Years (age 5 and below) right through to the transition to university. NRICH resources encourage creative and confident approaches to maths and are designed to develop mathematical thinking, reasoning and problem-solving skills. The site is used by teachers and students all over the world, and attracted more than 3.6 million visits and around 20 million page views last year.

The new site design reflects the broad appeal and accessibility of NRICH resources. The site has now moved away from a monthly publishing schedule to a more dynamic presentation of content, highlighting featured resources in thematically-linked collections.

As well as a new appearance, the new design also dramatically improves the navigation of the website. For the first time, the site now offers tailored views for students and for teachers. For teachers, NRICH resources are accompanied by detailed guidance notes giving suggestions on how they can be used in the classroom, and are mapped to the curriculum.
