The MMP's activities include a number of complementary programmes. You can read more about these on the following pages, or download a summary of our activities.
Each of our programmes has a particular focus:
- the NRICH website - thousands of free resources designed to develop problem solving skills and subject knowledge (KS 1-5)
- the Plus website - an online magazine opening a door to the world of maths, including a careers library (KS 5, general public)
- the Motivate video-conferencing programme - linking schools to professional mathematicians and scientists to engage in investigative project work (KS 1-5)
- visits to schools by the Hands-On Maths Roadshow, Enigma Project and NRICH staff (KS 1-5; also professional development for teachers)
- the Cambridgeshire Further Mathematics Centre - teaching, support and promotion of Further Maths A-level (KS 5, KS 4)
- popular mathematics lectures for schools and the general public, held in Cambridge (KS 2 - 5, general public)
- the STIMULUS programme - placing Cambridge student volunteers in local schools to assist with maths and science classes
