The Enigma Project aims to inspire interest in mathematics, science and history through interactive presentations and hands-on workshops focusing on codes and cryptography. Presentations include demonstrations of a real WWII Enigma cipher machine, loaned to the project by Simon Singh.

Please note that from the end of July 2014 the Millennium Mathematics Project will no longer be running the Enigma Project: after several very successful years, Dr James Grime, our Enigma Project Officer, is leaving to pursue solo projects. However, he will still be undertaking a limited number of Enigma visits on a freelance basis in the 2014/15 year. To enquire about future availability please email Dr James Grime.
