Date:
Friday, 22 June 2012 - 10:00am to 4:00pm

This free professional development event forms part of our 2011/12 STEM Teacher Inspiration programme, but we are pleased to be able to open this full-day event to new participants. For those attending for the first time, the day will be a stand-alone introduction for Key Stage 3 and 4 teachers who would like to develop stronger links between STEM subjects in their school.

This day is suitable for maths, science and DT practitioners, or pairs of teachers from different disciplines attending together, but note that we anticipate having more places available for participants in the Maths-DT strand.

This event will be held on 22 June 2012 at the Centre for Mathematical Sciences (CMS) at the University of Cambridge. Registration is 9.30-10.00am, and the day will finish by 4pm. The day will be a mix of plenary sessions and workshops.  Details of previous similar events are at https://nrich.maths.org/stemtiday1 and https://nrich.maths.org/stemtiday2, and this will give you a sense of what this day will be like.

Thanks to the generous support of the Clothworkers' Foundation we are able to offer free places to Key Stage 3 and 4 maths, science and DT teachers at UK schools, colleges and academies.

How to book: The deadline for registration was June 1: booking has now closed.
